Water for Nkondo

There is no regular supply of water in the villages in the Tanzanian highlands. Therefore we have started with the construction of a cistern in Lwambo. After completion in will have a capacity of 25,000-30,000 liters of water and will be fed by the inflow of a small creek. When this cistern is finished, it can ensure that the most necessary water requirements for drinking and cooking for many people are met. The plan is to build more cisterns in other villages of the Nkondo area.
